Peek inside Lillie Marlene

The living room has an elegant, yet comfortable, sofa and rocker placed to enjoy the TV/VCR. A collection of movies is provided. The furnishings are a mix of family heirlooms, antique shop treasures and pieces gathered from friends and family. The antique pump organ belonged to Marlene's grandfather who was an avid musician performing with a number of early Czech bands and orchestras in Texas. The antique Singer sewing machine belonged to Pat’s grandmother. Soft green, pastels and pristine white woodwork provide a calming environment reminiscent of an earlier time. The tall ornate hutch houses a number of books for your enjoyment.
The fully equipped kitchen is decorated in the original soft gray color discovered during the restoration. Pure white compliments the gray. The focal point of the kitchen is the antique replica “Country Charm” cook stove which is electric and fully functional. A table for two is set with seasonal dishes and flowers and where you will find a welcome treat.

The bedroom has an antique wood headboard queen-size bed. A seasonal keepsake showcases on the white bedcovering. Antique quilts are found in the closet for chilly nights as well as fluffy soft robes. Soft peach walls enhance the Victorian pattern carpet.

The bath has a tub/shower and pedestal sink. Guests will find little extras such as bath salts, beads and lotion—intended to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
